The Center for Security Policy (CSP) is holding its annual Flame Dinner fundraising event at Trump’s resort on November 23. As reported by the Palm Beach Post, tickets for the event are being sold for $650. CSP are described by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) as a former respectable think-tank turned “conspiracy-oriented mouthpiece for the growing anti-Muslim movement” in the U.S. The group’s founder, Frank Gaffney, is a known conspiracy theorist who suggested that former president Barack Obama was Muslim, following his trips to Saudi Arabia and Egypt....

Consumers Energy says restoration work will continue through Friday for most of its customers but the hardest-hit areas, including Branch, Calhoun, Kent, Jackson, and Saginaw counties, could undergo restoration work through the weekend. As of 6.50 a.m., local time Thursday morning, approximately 147,000 Consumers Energy customers were without power, caused by around 3,500 outages across the state. However, 92 percent of customers currently have power. The Michigan areas currently experiencing outages include Battle Creek and its surrounding areas and areas south-east of Mount Pleasant....
